Penn Buses
Penn operates four weekday fixed-route bus loops. Based on rider feedback, the names of these buses have just been changed to reflect their destinations and corridors, not just the directions in which they travel.
- Penn Bus West is now the Baltimore/Spruce Loop (4 PM-midnight)
- Penn Bus East is now the Rittenhouse Square Loop (4 PM-midnight)
- Penn Bus North is now the Powelton/Spruce Loop (4 PM-midnight)
- And the Pennovation Works route is now the Pennovation Works Day Loop (8 AM-6 PM)
Penn Bus rides are always free with a valid PennCard.

Our Mobile App Makes Planning Your Trip Easy
Penn Transit Riders can use the PennTransit Mobile app to plan their rides. The app provides the current location and estimated arrival times of all buses and shuttles. It also allows you to schedule a ride on our evening shuttles. All Penn Community members with PennKey credentials should download the app in order to submit a ride request.
