Penn Buses

Penn’s three fixed-route campus buses (West, East, and North) operate Monday through Friday from 4 PM to 12 AM year-round, except for holidays observed by the University of Pennsylvania. A fourth fixed-route bus travels from campus to Pennovation Works weekdays from 8 AM-6 PM (click here for details).

Penn Bus rides are always free with a valid PennCard.

Our Mobile App Makes Planning Your Trip Easy

Penn Transit Riders can use the PennTransit Mobile app to plan their rides. The app provides the current location and estimated arrival times of all buses and shuttles. It also allows you to schedule a ride on our evening shuttles. All Penn Community members with PennKey credentials should download the app in order to submit a ride request.
