Potential SEPTA Strike As of Thursday, November 14, SEPTA services are operating on normal schedules, as its workers' union negotiates a new contract. We continue to monitor the possibility of a SEPTA strike in the coming days, in which case contingency plans remain in place. Click here to view those contingency plans.

Carpooling Permits

Carpool parking is available at a discount over every-day permits.

To register, the carpool leader will apply for a permit in the Park@Penn portal and then invite their carpoolers. Each carpool is provided with one credential to access the assigned garage. Each carpooler is then provided access to the pedestrian doors via their PennCard or a Parking Services Access Card.

Carpools are available:

  • 2 person-carpool at a 15% discount (split evenly for each driver)
  • 3 person-carpool and 4 person-carpools are at a 20% discount (and then split evenly for each driver).
