Visitor Parking
Penn provides daily parking at the following locations during the day:
- Walnut 38 Garage
- Walnut 40 Garage
- Chestnut 34 Garage
- Penn Park Lot
Parking is first-come first-served and based on space availability only. Lighted signs at each entrance will indicate whether public parking is available. All garages close at 11pm.
Daily rates are posted and payment is required prior to exiting. All locations accept credit/debit cards only.

Daily and Hourly Parking
Penn offers daily and hourly parking options for visitors. Note that parking availability is subject to change and options may be limited during certain events. All prices are subject to change without notice.
Daily garage parking
- Sunday – Saturday, 6 am – 11 pm
- Available at: Chestnut and 34th Street Garage, Walnut and 38th Street Garage, Walnut and 40th Garage, and the Penn Museum Garage (South and Convention Blvd).
- Payment options: in-lot kiosk | mobile payment via in-lot signage | Pre-Paid Reservations
Daytime hourly parking
- Sunday – Saturday, 6am – 11pm
- Penn Park Parking Lot, 31st Street and Lower Walnut.
- Payment options: In-lot kiosks (credit/debit only) | Pre-Paid Reservations
- Ludlow Lot, corner of 33rd and Ludlow Street
- Payment options: Follow in-lot signage for mobile payment with license plate
Afternoon, Evening, and Weekend Parking
- Monday-Friday 2pm – 11pm and Saturday/Sunday 6am – 11pm
- Sports Medicine Lot, 33rd and South Street
- Sansome 38 Lot, 38th and Sansom Street
- River Fields Lot, enter off University Avenue
- Payment options: Follow in-lot signage for mobile payment with license plate

Reservations
Reserve your parking up to 7 days in advance via ParkMobile using your preferred payment method and on your own device.
Drive-up to our parking gates using the “Permit” or “Pre Paid” entrance even if the garage is signed “Closed” (since you have reserved parking!).
