
Bike to Work Day at Penn
On Wednesday, May 14, Bike to Work Day at Penn—the highlight of May’s Bike Month—will be marked with Energizer Stations at the Penn Museum’s Stoner Courtyard (3260 South Street) from 7-9 AM. The Penn community is invited to learn about various bike resources found on campus.
- The Division of Public Safety's "Share the Road" campaign and brochure stresses the importance of bicycle safety and awareness.
- Register your bike for free with at the DPS table.
- Learn how to use the bike rack at the front of all Penn Transit buses.
- Get info about Penn Commuter Services’ bicycle-related programs, including a new employee discount on an annual Indego365 bike-share membership, the established Bike Commuter Expense Reimbursement Program, and the increasingly popular Commuter Concierge program.
Around 8:30 AM, attendees can join a group ride to City Hall, where the advocacy and festivities continue.
Bike to Work Day at Penn is a collaboration between the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia and Penn’s Divisions of Business Services, Facilities and Real Estate Services, and Public Safety, as well as Penn Museum and the Office of Student Health Service.
