New Names for Penn Bus Routes

You asked for clearer bus route names. Starting Monday, August 3, you've got them!

Meet your new Penn Transit bus routes and color-coded badges—same ride, smarter names.

	Baltimore/Spruce Loop	Penn Bus West	33rd to 48th Sts. via Walnut & Spruce
	Powelton/Spruce Loop	Penn Bus North	Powelton to Spruce via 38th St.

The change follows feedback collected through rider surveys and focus groups, in which students told us the directional names of Penn Bus East, West, and North did not adequately communicate where the buses traveled.

Look for your route name and color on buses, at stops, and in our PennTransit Mobile app. Schedules still run every 20 minutes—nothing about your ride changes except the name.
